[Salt.] Natural Beeswax Cube Candle

The cube design is simple yet filled with meticulous details.

All candles are handmade one by one in our Tokyo studio. Therefore, there may be slight individual differences, but these can be enjoyed as a characteristic unique to handmade products. In addition, white powdery substances may appear on the product; this is called "blooming," a natural phenomenon that occurs when beeswax oxidizes. The powder can be gently rubbed off with a finger.

A Kiwi living in Tokyo for the past 4 years Ann is a working professional by day and a serial experimenter by night. After travelling the world and seeing the impact of climate change she set out to do something in the sustainable space.
Creating the right product was difficult, as she wanted to create a product that will have minimal environmental impact. She found inspiration from New Zealand and in particular, beeswax. This natural material is 100% toxin and chemical free, and burns three times longer than any other wax on the market. With her strong sense of aesthetics and background in design she set out to create artisanal candles for home. The goal is to bring beautiful sustainable living closer and more accessible for like minded individuals.
