This bamboo toothbrush is made from 100% organic bamboo.

More than billions of toothbrushes are thrown away around the world every year, most of which are made of plastic and are difficult to recycle, with many ending up in the ocean as litter.
Harmful gases are produced when the waste is incinerated, but bamboo toothbrushes do not produce as many harmful gases as plastic ones.

Bamboo grows quickly enough that it can be harvested in 2-3 years, making it the perfect sustainable choice for toothbrushes, which are a consumable product.
The bamboo handle is a natural material that will return to the soil after its useful life has been completed.
Even if it ends up in the ocean, it will be decomposed by microorganisms, so it is eco-friendly and puts less strain on the environment.

Bamboo contains ingredients with excellent antibacterial properties, so it can be expected to have a disinfecting effect.

Can it be composted?
You can remove the brush with tweezers, or if that's difficult, cut off the brush part with a saw. The bamboo handle will then return to nature and can be composted.
The kraft packaging is recyclable or compostable.

Before composting, you can upcycle them into garden markers or reuse them as cleaning brushes!

How should I dispose of it in the trash?
Please dispose of the bamboo handle as burnable waste and the plastic brush as non-burnable waste.

[Why is the brush part made of plastic?]
A 100% biodegradable toothbrush would be ideal, but no one has yet been developed anywhere in the world.
Even though the bristles are plastic, I think bamboo toothbrushes are the best option at the moment.
In the future, we aim to make the material, including the brush part, returnable to nature.

There are brushes that use natural animal bristles, but it is difficult to verify that the animals were treated humanely, and they are not vegan-friendly.
Animal hair is also prone to mold and mildew, so toothbrushes need to be replaced frequently.
