HuskeeCup is a coffee cup made using coffee husk as one of its ingredients.

Coffee husks are the outer skins and shells that are created when coffee beans are extracted from the cherries, and are discarded as waste. The HuskeeCup was born from the idea, "What if we could take these unwanted materials and turn them into something wonderful?"

The HuskeeCup was created by Huskee, a company founded by Saxon Wright, owner of the roaster cafe Pablo & Rusty's, headquartered in Sydney, Australia.

Australia has a long history of cafe culture, with over 100,000 coffee cups consumed per hour in Australia, and approximately 60,000 kg of coffee cup waste ends up in landfills in Australia every year.

Huskee's corporate philosophy is "Bring waste, Back to life," and by popularizing Husk Cups around the world, they are working to reduce both cup waste and Husk waste.

Huskee has also been certified as a B Corp* by B Lab, a non-profit organization based in Pennsylvania, USA.

*"B Corp" is a certification system launched by "B Lab" in 2006. To be certified, a company must meet the standards set by the organization in five areas, including environmental and social considerations, transparency, and accountability.
